Room Parents

Room parents' primary focus is to bridge between the class teacher and parents in their responsible classroom and organize/facilitate activities within that class. PTA and room parents cooperate and communicate with each other to bring the relevant information to the class parents and to reflect back to PTA when necessary.

Room parents, their financials and decisions are completely independent of PTA. The funds collected by room parents are used within their responsible classrooms only. Any parent in a classroom can volunteer for room parents, regardless if they are PTA members or not.
